Our Capability and Career Exploration Center program provides the opportunity for adults with physical and/or intellectual limitations and varying skill levels to gain experience to work towards gaining employment opportunities in the community or onsite at our facility. Individuals have the opportunity to earn a paycheck in the program making minimum wage. Capability Health Trainers either meet them at the community site or transports them to the worksite.

Custodial Work
Snack bar stocking and exposure to cashiering
Community Job Opportunities Include:
Disassembling motorized shopping carts
Our job development program provides assessments to help determine what jobs would be the best fit for each individual. We provide assistance with creating resumes and completing job applications. A Capability Health staff will accompany all individuals during the interview and new hire process.
Who Is Eligible?
Adults, 18 and over are eligible to become a part of this program.
Examples of Client Diagnoses: Intellectual and Physical Limitations such as Speech, Fine and/or Gross Motor Skills, Autism, and Down Syndrome.
