COVID-19 Updates

Telehealth

Telehealth provides the opportunity to receive Capability Health’s services via a smartphone, tablet, or computer to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It’s just like FaceTime, but with a therapist!

Currently, Capability Health is offering pediatric rehabilitation services via telehealth, including Early Intervention Services, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.

We are also offering rehabilitative services including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy within our Adult Program for all Nevadans on Medicaid. If you or a loved one needs rehabilitative services, please call our office for more information.

Safety Protocols

Capability Health's first and foremost priority is the safety and well-being of you and your child.  Due to COVID-19 Capability Health put new procedures into place to ensure everyone's safety.

We are sanitizing surfaces regularly.
Items are only used for one therapy session and sanitized for 24-hours after use.
Our team is wearing masks and having their temperature taken each morning.

Clinic Procedures

1.      When you arrive at the clinic for your child's scheduled therapy time the therapist will come out to your car and take his/her temperature before bringing the child into the clinic.  A parent or guardian may be present for an evaluation in the clinic but are required to wear a mask.

Please call:

Northern Nevada - (775) 434-0488
Southern Nevada - (702) 870-7050

if the therapist does not come out at your scheduled therapy time.

2.  If the child has a temperature of 100.4 or higher the session will be canceled. The child will not be permitted to resume therapy until he/she has been fever free for 24 hours.

3.  There is no waiting room. The therapist will walk the child into the clinic and back out to the car when the session has ended.

4.  If you need to talk to the therapist when they pick up or drop off your child at your vehicle, they will be wearing a mask and will adhere to the social distancing standards for everyone's safety.
